A Letter From Madina

A city where burdens loosen before they are even named
Where the chest forgets its weight,
and learns to breathe again.

Inside the Haram time softens.

It stops demanding, stops rushing
and simply sits beside the soul.

Thousands call all at once,
hands lifted, tears falling.

And still the hearts feels alone..
Alone with its Lord.
As though the Lord of the Heavens makes space for one trembling heart.

"My Allah" not possession
relief, among millions,

seen,

heard.

Quran tastes different here.
Verses descend into the ribs.
Light filtering through clouded skies,
ink flowing quietly into the veins.

This city help him ﷺ,
The dust knew his steps.
The air remembered his breath.
His companions filled the streets

and we inherit what they bled for.

No farewell is gentle enough
for a place that held the soul.
Steps toward the exit feel like betrayal.

Madina does not release easily.
It carves longing into the bones.
Distance grows, The body sails away.

The heart remains anchored.
